Riviera Maya 2008

The PKRA world tour could not have come to the Riviera Maya at a more perfect time. After a pretty weak start to the windy season the wind gods decided to bless us with perfect strong side shore winds for the competition.

As many kiters in the area know there was a high chance that the winds would not come but with unbelievable luck we enjoyed several days of great winds and an awesome event.

The best of the best came to show the rest of us what the sport is made of. With handle passes, kite loops and powerful wake-style tricks the crowd enjoyed a spectacular show.
In honor of the event, Extreme Control hosted four days of demos with the best name brands and professional riders. Extreme Control could not have done it without the support of local businesses.
