We are located in Tulum, Mexico from December to August and we offer and Kitesurfing LessonsKiteboarding Safaris in Northeastern Brazil from September to November. Our Kitesurfing Courses are powered by IKO, the International Kiteboarding Organization and our Diving Lessons by PADI.
All of our instructors are multilingual and offer all levels of lessons in English, Spanish, Italian and French. Our instructors are expert kiteboarders and IKO Certified with over 3 to 5 years experience in teaching and riding. We teach what we love. EXTREME CONTROL has the main school locations in Tulum at EL PARAISO BEACH CLUB where you will find the flattest spot in TULUM , other meeting point is POSADA MARGHERITA where you will be welcome to come and enjoy great meals and refreshing beverage and where at few steps you have a great wave spot for expert riders in PUERTA DEL CIELO HOTEL, where we give lesson as well.
Extreme Control Kiteboarding has been the first Kitesurfing School in Tulum and now after many years of teaching and riding we have expanded to offer other great school locations and riding locations throughout the Yucatan Peninsula. Come learn or ride with us in our incredible kiteboarding spots at EL PARAISO BEACH CLUB HOTEL, this is our main School Location where you will find the flattest conditions in all Tulum to learn kiteboarding or you can stop by POSADA MARGHERITA our new meeting point, from where we will go riding or learning in the beautiful beach of PUERTA DEL CIELO HOTEL . We also offer lessons on the island of Holbox or travel with us to Sian Kaan Biosphere Reserve, Playa Del Carmen, Xpu Ha, Isla Blanca near Cancun, Progreso, and Telchac Puerto. With three school locations and more to come you are sure to have a great kiteboarding vacation.
We not only offer a great kiteboarding location with fun waves but we offer stand up paddle boards, kayak and waveski rentals, longboards plus, our new line of clothing for men and women with T-shirts, shorts, hats, bathing suits, dresses, natural Mayan sunscreens and beauty products and much much more! TULUM is a perfect place for the whole family. Stay on the beach in one of our Tulum style cabanas and you will have the perfect kiteboarding holiday. Come in El Paraiso Beach Club where you will find calm waters for learning. With a south wind, experienced riders can enjoy a special treat riding in front of the famous Mayan Ruins. We have great downwind opportunities from El Paraiso Beach Club to Puerta del Cielo Hotel and on into the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve. We can organize transportation while you get a scenic view of the coastline.

We also have a perfect location on the island of Holbox at Casa Las Tortugas where we offer all levels of lessons from beginner to advanced with instruction in kite loops and handle passes with our instructor, Gabriel. As an experienced rider, you will find awesome flat water conditions where you can practice all your new tricks. The best thing about the island is that no matter what direction the wind is coming from there is always great riding. Our beginner lesson starts every day at 12:30 at Casa Las Tortugas.

We will be following the wind to the northern coast of Brazil where the wind blows daily 18-25+ knots (Wind Guru) and in some places along the coast it blows even harder. This coastline is a dream for experienced riders as well as a perfect place to learn as the wind is always there for you to practice.
